Our Pest Control Services

With our expansion into Pest Control Services, we are proud to offer a the same ethical services, stellar customer service & affordable prices that we have been providing within the wildlife industry for over a decade.

We take the time to do a thorough inspection and assess your specific situation.  This allows us to determine the exact target pests and devise a pest control program to get rid of them.  Our pest control service will utilize habitat modifications & controls (biological, cultural, mechanical controls) with the right amount of pesticides in the proper locations to remedy the problem.  This approach is called Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and is present in every aspect of our pest control service.  In other words, we look at the big picture and use the existing resources & tools combined with minimal pesticides to remedy the situation.  Following the IPM standards, with our pest control service all materials are selected and applied in a manner that minimizes risks to human health, beneficial and non-target organisms, and the environment. All of our services can be tailored to suit any BUDGET & NEED.  Talk to us!  We offer typical household pest control services on a bi-monthly, or quarterly basis.

Pest Control Services Team

OUR PEST CONTROL SERVICES

Implementing an IPM program involves using the most selective pesticide that will do the job and be the safest for other organisms and your environment.  This means using pesticides in bait stations rather than sprays, or spot-spray a few weeds instead of an entire area.  To understand more about the science behind an IPM program, watch this video: Scientific Basis for IPM.  This principle closely mimics our philosophy & standards so it was natural for us to incorporate into our daily practices.

Our friendly, highly-skilled staff is happy to answer any questions you have.  Call us at (678) 935-5900 to set up an appointment for a pest inspection that suits your schedule.

We can actively control some of the most common unwanted pests such as the following: Ants, Beetles, Carpenter Bees, Centipedes, Crickets, Flies, Hornets, Lady Bugs, Mosquitoes, Moths, Roaches, Scorpions, Silverfish, Snails, Stinkbugs, Spiders

We have had to limit our coverage area for Pest Control Services to cover:

Simply call us and ask if we can service your area.

We take the common-sense approach of controlling pests, and the diseases they spread to a new family-friendly level, while still protecting the people, pets, and plants from any ill effects from a pesticide spraying process inside your home.

Are you against the use of Pesticides inside the home? No Problem!

We can restrict the use of industry-standard pesticides to the outside of the home and strategically use it as a barrier (still in a responsible manner) so it is safe for your family & pets. We can also devise an alternative plan of using “organic eco-friendly” pesticide inside if that is your preference.  Each Pest Control plan is customized to suit your goals and desires.

Pest Control Outside Your Home

The outside of your home provides thousands of routes for a pest to gain access into your living areas. With today’s advanced micro-encapsulation chemistry technology, a pest control material can be applied around the exterior of the home. When combined with simple mechanical exclusion processes like caulking and sealing insect access points, this pest control service can further minimize the insects’ ability to gain entry into the living areas of your home.

Pest Control Inside Your Home

We instinctively try to avoid using pesticides inside your living quarters.  How much we avoid it, comes down to personal preferences.  If you wish for us to keep your home chemical-free and focus on the outside we can.  If there is a problem to be addressed inside the home we can discuss options.  Just keep in mind that there are alternatives.

Our Standard Bi-Monthly & Quarterly Pest Control Service

If you sign up for our quarterly pest control services, we perform a thorough inspection of your home to establish what pests are problematic and devise a strategy to remove them from within the home and then approach the pesticide application on the premise that we want to prevent them from coming into the building after the initial treatment.  The micro-encapsulated control materials applied around the foundation of your home degrades in approximately 90 days. In addition, it seems 90 days also provides those pesky insects the opportunity they need to reproduce their nesting capability around your property grounds again.

Winter Rodent Inspection

During your winter service, we take a little extra time to inspect your attic for possible rodent activity. We do this annually pest inspection free of charge during your winter service period.

Why not choose a large franchise like Cook’s Pest Control, Arrow Exterminators, Orkin, Peachtree Pest Control?

Every company started small and with the owners doing the work. This is where they established the standard operating procedures.  Great.  It worked and they grew to an enormous size.  Now they have employees and in our opinion, the employees never do the quality work that the owner did.  We are not blaming them, it happens to every company who wants to grow.  Everyone on your property with Southern Pest Management is an owner in this business.  We are limiting our growth to control the quality of our services.

Cook’s Pest Control, Arrow Exterminators, Orkin, Peachtree Pest Control, Urban wildlife control, and many others I’m sure to do a good job.  We just wanted more control over our staff.  Every job that we currently do, has a partner on the property to perform the work and as we grow they will oversee the work provided.  We love that everyone on your property has a vested interest in the outcome or results.

There has been a lot of jobs where we were hired to correct a problem created with a franchise or national chain companies.  Keep in mind that one specific branch can have a bad reputation but by no means does that mean that each location of the pest control franchise is the same.   Let me give an example… below is a picture of a job where an employee did not demonstrate the will of the owner.  This is frustrating to all business owners.  There was a gap that they were paid to cover with metal.  The person doing the work knew the metal only covered half of the gap yet the continued on as if they were providing some form of benefit.
